When you mix a wilderness play area, fun people and a full moon you get the Gold Rush Moon 'O'. Everyone who turned out on Friday evening enjoyed the fun and challenge of an orienteering course and lovely weather followed by blackened hot dogs (not , not a cajun specialty) and burgers. The event started promptly at 9 as the moon rose over the eastern horizon. Twenty competiors headed out for the rogaine style checkpoints in teams of two or three. Although we strongly encouraged them to get back by midnight, most teams strayed a bit beyond that deadline as they were having such fun.
